Today, December 25, on Christmas, parts of Ukraine are expected to experience both snow and rain. During the day, it will be relatively warm, with no frost.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing the forecast from meteorologist Natalka Didenko.
"Christmas in Ukraine will see snow in the Carpathian regions and rain in the southern part," she said, adding that this weather in these areas will be influenced by a cyclone.
In the rest of Ukraine, according to the meteorologist, predominantly cloudy weather is anticipated, but without precipitation.
"This is due to a large anticyclonic mass covering a significant part of continental Europe. Throughout the day on December 25, temperatures in Ukraine are expected to range from +1...+4 degrees, in the west and extreme north from -2...+2 degrees, in the southern part +4...+9 degrees, and in Crimea up to +12 degrees," Didenko noted.
In Kyiv, precipitation is unlikely on Christmas, with daytime temperatures between 0...+2 degrees. For the New Year, the weather in Ukraine is not expected to change significantly.
