Szijjártó took offense at Tusk, calling him a "Soros agent."

The Hungarian Foreign Minister, Peter Szijjártó, responded emotionally to Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk's statement regarding Hungary's potential blockage of sanctions against Russia. The head of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry referred to Tusk as a "Soros agent."

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing Szijjártó's message on Facebook.

"It may be difficult for a Soros agent to understand, but when it comes to teams, we play for the Hungarian team... Hungary comes first for us," the minister wrote.

He emphasized that Hungary does not want to pay for other people's wars and will not allow the country's energy security to be jeopardized.

"Because Hungary is our priority," Szijjártó explained.

Recall that recently, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that if Hungary blocks the automatic extension of European sanctions against Russia, it would indicate that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban is acting in Moscow's interests.

"If Orban really blocks European sanctions at a crucial moment for the war, it will be quite clear that in this great game for the security and future of Europe, he is playing on Putin's team, not ours," the Polish Prime Minister previously declared.
