The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has neutralized a network of agents from the Federal Security Service (FSB) that was spying on prominent volunteers and officials of international organizations in Kyiv, Dnipro, and Odesa.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Telegram channel of the SBU.
In order to establish the whereabouts, car numbers, and travel routes of volunteers and officials of international organizations, the Russian special service remotely recruited a lawyer from the capital. This lawyer brought several accomplices into the scheme from three regions of Ukraine.
"Under the direction of the occupiers, the individuals covertly monitored the 'targets,' including using optical devices. For instance, a resident of the agent group periodically set up 'observation points' with binoculars on rooftops opposite the offices of international organization officials and volunteers," the SBU adds.
Afterward, information from all participants of the agent network was compiled and sent as a single 'report' to the Russian curator.

In turn, the SBU timely detained the network leader and his accomplices in Kyiv.
"During the documentation of the criminal activities of the individuals, it was established that they also adjusted missile strikes on defense factories and energy facilities in Ukraine," the SBU writes.
During the searches, 15 mobile phones were seized, which the traitors used for covert communication with the occupiers. In particular, optical devices and flash drives were also confiscated.
The traitors were informed about charges under part 2 of article 28, part 2 of article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. They face life imprisonment.
Recall that RBK-Ukraine reported that recently a sentence was handed down to a traitor who adjusted missile and bombing strikes on Zaporizhzhia.
