In a single day, Russian forces dropped over 10 KABs on their own village in the Kursk region. A local resident suffered due to such "liberation."

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing a statement from the press officer of the temporary military commandant's office in Russia, Alexey Dmitrashkovsky.

"This is how the Russian army 'liberates' Kazachya Loknya. By killing its own citizens," Dmitrashkovsky stated.

He noted that as a result of today's shelling, there were no casualties, but one woman was injured.

"She sustained a serious concussion. This happened because the KAB exploded right in her yard. By the way, this is not the first time for her - previously, Russians destroyed her house with a KAB. Now she lives in someone else's home since her summer kitchen, where she used to live, now resembles a colander. Honestly, I'm surprised it didn't collapse on her head after the strike!" he explained.

The press officer emphasized that, in his opinion, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has tasked his army with 'liberating' the territory with foundations, rather than the populated areas and people.

"To eliminate all witnesses of their own crimes, shame, and indifference. I cannot explain such brutal treatment of their own citizens any other way. Russia is taking revenge on its own citizens who witnessed the shameful retreat of the Russian army in August 2024," Dmitrashkovsky underscored.

Fighting in the Kursk Region

Recall that in the summer of 2024, Ukrainian forces launched a successful offensive in the Kursk region, capturing significant territories.

In the fall, in response, Russia brought in about 11,000 North Korean soldiers to support its forces. However, due to insufficient training and a lack of a common language, North Korean troops suffered significant losses.

Recently, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky shared insights after six months of the Kursk operation.
