Russian military forces have launched kamikaze drones of the "Shahed" type towards Ukraine. Explosions were reported in Odessa.
This information comes from RBK-Ukraine, referencing a statement by Odessa's mayor, Gennady Trukhanov, and the Air Forces of Ukraine.
Today, February 19, after 8 PM, Trukhanov announced that there is a threat of strike drones being used against the city.
Later, he urged residents to seek shelter and remain in safe locations, after which he reported that explosions could be heard in the city.
"Explosions can be heard in the city, stay in shelters," he stated.
It is worth noting that the Air Forces of Ukraine also warned that Russian drones were directed towards Odessa from the Black Sea area.
It should be noted that earlier on February 19, Russian military forces carried out a massive attack on Odessa and its vicinity using strike drones. As a result of the shelling, the number of injured has risen to four individuals.
Due to the attack, emergency power outages were implemented in some areas of Odessa. Critical infrastructure continues to operate using generators.
