Russians are using new drones to carry out strikes in Sumy, according to the National Police.

Russian occupiers have started utilizing a new type of drone for strikes on Sumy. In just the past week, the city has been attacked five times by these explosive-laden drones.

Russian occupiers have started to use a new type of drones for strikes on Sumy. In just the past week, the city has faced attacks from these explosive-laden drones five times.

This is reported by RBK-Ukraine with reference to Telegram of the National Police of Ukraine.

"The Russians have begun utilizing a new type of drone to strike at the civilian population. In the last week alone, the city of Sumy has been attacked five times by these explosive-equipped drones," the statement reads.

As a result of the strikes, one person has died and three others have been injured. The explosions damaged vehicles and residential buildings.

What this drone looks like

  • gray in color, resembling a small airplane;
  • two wings arranged in a "staggered" configuration.
  • electric motor at the rear, driving a propeller;
  • small size, low visibility, quiet in movement;
  • equipped with a warhead weighing about 3 kg.

  • Be vigilant - although these drones are nearly silent, they can still be spotted.
  • If you see a suspicious object - report it to the police immediately.

By morning, it was reported that explosions were heard in Sumy, and a residential high-rise was damaged due to an enemy drone strike. City authorities stated that the "arrivals" of strike drones of the "Shahed" type occurred near Lake Chekha. Two people were injured.
