On the night of January 27, Russian occupiers launched over a hundred drones against Ukraine. The air defense managed to destroy 57 of them.
This is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Telegram channel of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
In total, the enemy launched 104 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Shahed type and various types of decoy drones from the directions of the Russian cities of Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as the temporarily occupied Chauda.

"As a result of the attack by Russian UAVs, the Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Kyiv regions were affected. Infrastructure facilities, apartment buildings, and private homes were damaged. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties, and assistance is being provided to the affected. Special services are working to eliminate the consequences of the enemy attack," the Air Forces report.
Almost every night, Russian terrorists resort to shelling Ukraine, posing a serious threat to civilians. For these attacks, the enemy uses drones, missiles of various types, artillery, and guided aerial bombs. That night, due to the drone attack, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv. In particular, it was reported that air defense was engaged.
As a result of the nighttime attack on one of the infrastructure facilities in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, fires broke out at two locations.
