This night, in the Kyiv region, the air defense (AD) was operational during an attack by enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The line of the contact network of "Ukrzaliznytsia" was damaged by debris from a drone.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Telegram channel of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration (OVA).
According to the acting head of the Kyiv OVA, Mykola Kalashnyk, the air raid alert in the region lasted for almost 5 hours. As a result of the drone attacks, there were no casualties among the population, nor hits on critical or residential infrastructure.
Due to falling debris in one of the settlements, the following were damaged:
"Additionally, the line of the railway contact network was damaged by the debris. Train traffic on this section has already been restored," Kalashnyk stated, adding that operational groups continue to work on documenting and eliminating the consequences of the night attack.
As reported by "Ukrzaliznytsia," railway workers have completed the restoration of the contact network damaged during the enemy shelling. Train movement on the section is now open, but some services may run with delays.

This night, the enemy launched another attack on Ukrainian territory. Air raid alerts were declared in several northern, central, and eastern regions, as well as in the Mykolaiv and Odesa regions in southern Ukraine. Around midnight, it became known about the operation of the air defense in the Kyiv region.
