Russians launched a drone attack on a suburb of Kherson, resulting in casualties.

On the evening of December 29, Russian occupiers used a drone to drop explosives on a suburb of Kherson. As a result of the attack, an elderly couple was injured.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing Telegram of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

"Around 21:30, residents of Antonovka were targeted by an enemy drone. As a result of the explosive drop, a 62-year-old man and woman were injured," the message states.

The administration also clarified that the injured man was diagnosed with blast trauma and shrapnel wounds to his legs. His wife suffered a concussion and fractures of the shinbones. Both injured individuals were taken to the hospital for medical assistance.

Recall that on the night of December 29, the Russians launched 6 S-300/S-400 missiles and 10 drones at Ukraine. Air defense forces shot down 9 Shahed-type attack UAVs and drones of other types.
