Russians struck the Odesa region, hitting an unfinished residential building, resulting in one fatality and one injury.

The Russian army attacked an unfinished residential building in the Odesa region on February 5. There is one fatality and one injury; they were passing by during the strike.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Telegram of Odesa regional military administration head Oleg Kiper, "Dumskaya".

"In the Odesa region, as a result of a Russian missile attack on an unfinished residential building, one person was killed," Kiper stated.

According to the regional administration head, another person is in serious condition in the hospital.

"Both were passing by the building by chance. Emergency services are working at the scene," he noted.

According to media reports, the Russians attacked an unfinished residential construction in the city of Pivdenne.

Shelling of Odesa and the region

Russian troops regularly shell Odesa and the surrounding area with missiles and drones. For instance, on the night of February 1, occupiers attacked the Odesa region with drones. A 9-year-old child and a woman were injured.

Additionally, on the night of January 31, Russians attacked Chornomorsk in the Odesa region with drones. Four people were injured during that attack.

On January 31, Russian troops attacked Odesa with ballistic missiles. The historic center of the city was hit, particularly the "Bristol" hotel. People were also injured.
