On the morning of December 26, the Russian Federation is once again holding ships in the Black Sea. Ukraine continues to face the threat of missile strikes.
This is reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing data from the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As of 06:00, two ships have been recorded in the Black Sea. One of them is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles, capable of launching up to 4 missiles.
Meanwhile, there are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov. However, six Russian vessels have been spotted in the Mediterranean Sea, two of which are Kalibr carriers with a total launch capacity of up to 22 missiles.
The Naval Forces reported that over the past day, the following vessels passed through the Kerch Strait in the interest of the Russian Federation:
"The Russian Federation continues to violate the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea 1974 (SOLAS) by turning off automatic identification systems," the message states.
We remind you that Russia regularly maintains ships armed with Kalibr missiles in the Black and Mediterranean Seas. For instance, on January 25, military forces also recorded two enemy ships that Russia had deployed for combat duty, one of which was a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles.
It is worth noting that from time to time, the aggressor country launches missile strikes on Ukrainian territory from the waters of the Black Sea.
