On the night of January 13, the Russian Federation (RF) deployed 110 strike unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Shahed type and imitation drones against Ukraine. The air defense managed to destroy 78 of them.

The enemy launched the drones from the directions of the Russian cities of Millerovo, Oryol, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

As of 9 AM, the destruction of 78 drones has been confirmed across Poltava, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and several other regions.
31 imitation drones were lost track of without negative consequences.
"Due to the fall of the downed enemy drones in Sumy, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, and Zaporizhzhia regions, there are damages to buildings of enterprises, private and state institutions, private homes, and vehicles. Preliminary reports indicate there are no casualties or injuries," the Air Forces report.
Since the onset of the full-scale war, Russia has regularly attacked Ukrainian territory with guided aerial bombs (GABs), drones, missiles of various types, and artillery, posing a serious threat to the population. In particular, since last year, terrorists have begun to conduct shelling almost every night. On the night of January 12, the enemy launched 94 drones. At that time, air defense managed to shoot down 60 drones.
