Russian military forces have launched kamikaze drones of the "Shahed" type towards Ukraine. Air raid alerts have been declared in many regions, and air defense systems are operational.

The first waves of UAVs began entering the country's airspace from the east and northeast on the evening of December 26.
At around 21:00, the military reported drone movements at the border of Donetsk and Kharkiv regions heading towards Dnipropetrovsk region.
Additionally, groups of drones were moving in the southwestern direction in the Sumy region and from Dnipropetrovsk region towards Zaporizhzhia.
At 22:31, the Air Forces reported UAV movements through Poltava region heading towards Kremenchuk.
At 23:11, drones were detected in the suburbs of Kharkiv.
At 23:27, the military reported UAV movements from Poltava towards Cherkasy region.
At 23:54, reports indicated the movement of several groups of drones towards Zolotonosha in Cherkasy region.
At 00:35, the Air Forces reported new groups of UAVs from Sumy region heading towards Poltava region.
At 01:37, the military reported the movement of UAVs from Poltava to Cherkasy region.
At 01:59, the Air Forces announced the movement of a couple of drones from Poltava region to Kyiv region.
At 02:24, according to the latest military data, several groups of strike drones are moving south of Kyiv.
At 02:58, the Air Forces reported the threat from strike UAVs had been lifted.

On the evening of Thursday, December 26, Russian terrorists struck an apartment building in the city of Chasiv Yar in Donetsk region with an FPV drone. There are casualties and injuries.
Additionally, the invaders attacked a village in Kharkiv district with guided aerial bombs. A man was killed.
