On the night of January 21, the Russian Federation (RF) attacked Ukraine with 131 Shahed-type unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and decoy drones. In addition, the enemy launched four Iskander-M ballistic missiles.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Telegram channel of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
During the bombardment, the Russians launched 131 drones from the directions of the Russian cities of Millerovo, Oryol, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and four "Iskanders" from the Voronezh region.

As of 9 AM, the downing of 72 drones has been confirmed in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, and several other regions.
Another 59 drones were lost without negative consequences.
"In Poltava and Cherkasy regions, institutions, agricultural buildings, and private homes were damaged. Emergency services are addressing the aftermath, with no casualties or injuries reported so far," the Air Forces state.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has been conducting regular shelling of Ukrainian territory. During the attacks, terrorists use drones, guided aerial bombs, artillery, various types of missiles, and more. Civil infrastructure is often targeted, posing a serious threat to ordinary citizens.
As reported by "Ukrzaliznytsia," terrorists shelled the railway infrastructure of Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in injuries to two railway workers. Damage to buildings and rolling stock has also been recorded.
