As a result of the enemy's nighttime attack on Kyiv, there are no significant consequences for the energy system. Power outages in Obolon were likely local.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing the CEO of YASNO, Serhiy Kovalenko, during a telethon.
Commenting on the morning reports from some media about partial power outages in the Obolon district of Kyiv, Kovalenko stated that it is too early to discuss the consequences of last night's attack. However, if there are power outages, they are likely related to damage to local networks.
"Therefore, it seems to me that today’s morning missile attack on Kyiv, from what I understand, does not lead to any serious consequences for the energy system," he added.
On the night of February 12, Russian terrorists attacked Ukraine with drones and missiles. This included the enemy launching a missile strike on Kyiv, resulting in damage to two office buildings in the Obolon district, as well as fires breaking out in two other districts.
Damage has also been recorded in the surrounding region.
Commenting on the nighttime shelling, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russia is not preparing for peace and urged partners to increase pressure on the terrorist state.
