Политолог сообщает, что Путин открыт для переговоров.

The Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is open to negotiations regarding the full-scale war. Currently, the occupying country has several vulnerabilities that the United States could exploit.

This was stated by Russian opposition political scientist Abbas Gallyamov in a piece for RBK-Ukraine"The World Through Strength. How Trump Can Force Putin to End the War and Start Negotiations".

As Gallyamov explained, the situation in the Russian economy, on the front lines, and the significant losses already may compel the dictator to enter negotiations. This indicates that the team of the 47th President of the United States, Donald Trump, possesses the necessary leverage to make Putin reconsider his previous terms. Among these tools are:

  • the continuation of military aid to Ukraine at the same or even increased levels, which would lead to higher losses among Russian terrorists and intensified strikes on Russian territory;
  • the collapse of oil prices. The Russian army is primarily a mercenary force fighting not for their homeland or Putin, but for money.

"Trump generally has a fairly positive and loyal stance towards Putin. Why would Putin want to quarrel with him, given all the current and potential problems? If they do fall out, Trump will increase arms supplies to Ukraine, drive down oil prices, and, to spite Russia, will accept Ukraine into NATO," Gallyamov speculates.

Possible Negotiations Between Russia and Ukraine Are Feasible

Earlier, President Vladimir Zelensky noted that Kyiv needs security guarantees before returning to the negotiating table. He specifically stated that if Trump wishes to force the dictator into peace, he will be able to do so.

It is also worth mentioning that after his inauguration, Trump addressed Putin and threatened him with additional tariffs and sanctions if Russia does not agree to a ceasefire agreement in the near future.
