The US President Donald Trump has made the decision to extend sanctions against Russia. The restrictions will remain in place for at least another year.

"Therefore, in accordance with section 202(d) of the National Emergencies Act, I am extending for one year the national emergency declared in Executive Order No. 13660," the new order states.
