Firefighters rescued two men during a blaze in Dnipro.

On the night of January 1st to 2nd, a five-story building was engulfed in flames on Alexander Polya Avenue in the Central District of Dnipro, as reported by "Vідомо," citing the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region.

During the firefighting efforts, emergency responders rescued two men aged 49 and 44 from an apartment on the fourth floor.

The victims were brought to safety and handed over to medical personnel. Subsequently, the rescued individuals were hospitalized.

Firefighters extinguished the flames, which had damaged household belongings over an area of five square meters.

A total of 13 rescuers and three units of firefighting equipment from the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the region were involved in extinguishing the fire.
