Russia's losses: Ukrainian forces have destroyed over 200 vehicles and around 50 artillery systems.
The losses of the Russian Federation in the war against Ukraine have exceeded 812,000 soldiers. Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have eliminated 1,580 occupiers and destroyed nearly three hundred units of equipment.
This information is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy as of January 15, 2025, are as follows:
- personnel - approximately 812,670 (+1,580) people,
- tanks - 9,780 (+13) units,
- armored combat vehicles - 20,348 (+22) units,
- artillery systems - 21,975 (+52) units,
- MLRS - 1,262 units,
- air defense systems - 1,046 (+2) units,
- airplanes - 369 units,
- helicopters - 331 units,
- operational-tactical UAVs - 22,383 (+107),
- cruise missiles - 3,018,
- ships/boats - 28 units,
- submarines - 1 unit,
- automotive vehicles and tankers - 33,995 (+204) units,
- special equipment - 3,696.
It should be noted that Russia is attempting to conceal the losses of its troops in the war against Ukraine. The losses of private military companies, North Korean troops, and other paramilitary formations fighting against Ukraine are also being obscured.
As reported by the Ministry of Defense, in the past year, Russia suffered record losses. Over the year, the occupiers lost 430,790 soldiers - nearly 36 motorized rifle divisions.
The highest losses for Russia in a year and during the full-scale war were recorded in December 2024 - 48,670 Russian military personnel.
