The Russian military has reported over 1,200 soldier casualties in the past 24 hours, according to the General Staff.

Over the past 24 hours, from February 7 to 8, Russian forces have lost 1,210 soldiers in the war against Ukraine. Additionally, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 35 artillery systems, 102 drones, and 95 units of enemy vehicles.

This is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Overall combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 08.02.25 are estimated to be:

• personnel - approximately 847,860 (+1,210) individuals;
• tanks - 9,981 (+6) units;
• armored fighting vehicles - 20,777 (+22) units;
• artillery systems - 22,820 (+35) units;
• MLRS - 1,273 (+2) units;
• air defense systems - 1,056 units;
• aircraft - 369 units;
• helicopters - 331 units;
• operational-tactical level drones - 24,403 (+102) units;
• cruise missiles - 3,054 units;
• ships/boats - 28 units;
• submarines - 1 unit;
• automotive equipment and fuel tankers - 36,402 (+95) units;
• special equipment - 3,738 units.

Situation at the Front

As a reminder, as of the evening of Friday, February 7, there have been 116 combat engagements at the front. The situation remains hottest in the Pokrovsk direction.

In total, over the past day, Russian invaders carried out 90 airstrikes, employing 149 guided aerial bombs. The occupiers also deployed 961 kamikaze drones and shelled the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian areas more than 4,000 times.
