Today, January 8, warm weather is expected in Ukraine, continuing into the coming days. However, it will get colder again over the weekend.
This information comes from RBK-Ukraine, citing the forecast by meteorologist Natalka Didenko.
"On January 8, thermometer readings will fluctuate between +4...+9 degrees during the day, reaching +9...+11 in some western areas, +7...+12 degrees in central regions, and spring-like temperatures of +9...+14 degrees in the southern part!" she explained.
On Wednesday, it will be mostly dry in Ukraine, with precipitation likely only in the Carpathians.
"In the evening of January 8, rain, possibly mixed with wet snow, is expected in the western and northern regions of Ukraine," the meteorologist noted.
In Kyiv on Wednesday, it will be warm, with nighttime temperatures of +2...+4 and daytime temperatures of +5...+7 degrees.
Most of January 8 will be dry, with rain expected only in the evening. The wind will be moderate and coming from the southwest.
From January 9-10, warm weather will persist in Ukraine, but starting January 11, colder temperatures will arrive.
"The cooling will not be severe, with nighttime temperatures dropping to slight 'negatives', and daytime temperatures ranging from -2 to +3 degrees," Didenko noted.
