Польша готова увеличить поставки электроэнергии в Украину, если Словакия выполнит свои угрозы.

The Minister of Climate and Environment of Poland, Paulina Henning-Kloska, stated that her country is ready to supply electricity to Ukraine. This could happen if Slovakia follows through on its threats.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing Reuters.

According to her, Poland would be able to increase electricity sales to Ukraine, but only if Ukraine makes a request.

"Our operator is ready; it’s just a matter of whether Ukraine will want it or if they will have to take advantage of it. Fico's behavior is directed against Europe," she said.

Fico's Threats

It is worth noting that since January 1 of this year, Ukraine has halted the transit of Russian gas to Europe and Moldova. In response, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico announced that he would stop electricity supplies to Ukraine, as he has repeatedly complained about Ukraine's decision to cease the transit of Russian gas.

Ukraine has urged the European Commission to respond to Fico's blackmail. He has also resorted to new threats against Ukraine. The Prime Minister of Slovakia stated that the country might reduce assistance to Ukrainian refugees.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky claimed that Fico might have received instructions from Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
