Due to the intense rains, cars are nearly completely submerged, and the water flows are so powerful that they are washing vehicles off the roads. Local residents are currently evacuating or seeking refuge in safe places.

The Saudi Arabian Meteorological Authority has issued a red alert for danger. Meteorologists warn that precipitation is expected to continue, likely until January 10.

Flight delays have also begun at the airport in Jeddah, where passengers are advised to check flight updates before traveling due to the weather conditions.
