The aftermath of the Russian attack has been addressed in the Kyiv region. As a result of the nighttime strikes, private homes were damaged, and a fire broke out.
This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the acting head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration Nikolai Kalashnikov.
During the night, Russian forces attacked the Kyiv region using unmanned aerial vehicles. The air raid alert lasted for over 5 hours.
The air defense forces engaged enemy targets, successfully shooting down drones. There were no casualties among the civilian population, and no hits on critical infrastructure were recorded.
However, as a result of the attack in the Boryspil district, a fire occurred in a warehouse production facility, along with damage to its roof. The fire was quickly extinguished. Additionally, one private house was damaged.

In the Brovary district, damage to six private homes has been reported. Windows were shattered, part of the roofs was destroyed, and facades were damaged.
Currently, emergency services continue to assess the consequences of the enemy attack. The regional military administration has stated that all individuals whose homes were damaged will receive the necessary assistance.
As previously reported, there was a threat of ballistic missile strikes on Ukraine on the morning of February 16.
In a number of regions, alerts were declared due to the UAV threat.
Moreover, on the night of February 16, Russian forces launched a massive attack on Mykolaiv. Reports indicate that there are damages to critical infrastructure and one person has been injured.
