Attacks were planned at the TCK. The SBU exposed FSB agents recruited through Telegram.

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has uncovered FSB agents who attempted to recruit local residents via Telegram for carrying out terrorist attacks in the Kyiv region. The perpetrators planned explosions at law enforcement and prosecutor's office facilities.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security (SPRAVDI).

The Center explained that a 27-year-old drug-dependent resident of the Kyiv region and his girlfriend were seeking "easy" money through Telegram channels. It was there that they were contacted by employees of the Russian FSB. They were tasked with producing explosives and detonating them at a base of local police units, TCCs, or prosecutor's offices. The SBU preemptively uncovered the agents, documented their contacts with the Russian special service, and their preparations for the attacks.

The perpetrators are currently in custody and face up to 12 years of imprisonment with asset confiscation.

Recall that in the Kyiv region, the Security Service of Ukraine and the State Bureau of Investigation detained a Russian agent who was providing the FSB with information about former prisoners fighting on the side of Ukraine.

Additionally, in Odesa, law enforcement apprehended another FSB agent who was spying on Ukrainian vessels patrolling the Black Sea waters.
