Partisans have learned about the new tactics employed by the occupiers in the Donetsk region.

The Russian command has ordered the implementation of a new tactic in the Donetsk region. Russian artillery units will now dress in civilian clothing and transport shells using non-military vehicles.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Telegram channel of the partisan movement "ATEŞ".

According to an agent among the servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces in the Donetsk region, the Russian command has issued an order for artillery units to use civilian transport for military purposes.

"Under this order, the use of military uniforms and insignia is prohibited in order to disguise themselves as local residents," the message states.

According to the partisans, it has been ordered that ammunition be transported in passenger cars, trailers, or minibuses, with a limit of 10 shells per vehicle.

Why the occupiers are using this tactic

These actions constitute a serious violation of the Geneva Convention and the rules of warfare, as well as another crime committed by the Russian occupying forces.

"Such methods not only endanger the civilian population but also serve as a tool for provocations aimed at accusing the Armed Forces of Ukraine," explains "ATEŞ".

The situation at the front in Ukraine

On January 3, 148 combat encounters were recorded at the front in just one day. The occupiers primarily attacked in the Pokrovsk direction and in the Kursk region.

Specifically, in the Pokrovsk direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 40 assaults by the Russians, including a recent successful defense against a Russian attack in Pokrovsk itself.

In turn, the Russians destroyed Ukrainian positions in the area of Chasiv Yar and Toretsk. In the Toretsk direction, the enemy launched seven attacks near the settlements of Diliivka, Toretsk, and Shcherbinivka.
