Partisans discovered an anti-aircraft missile regiment in the Moscow region and shared photos.

Representatives of the Ukrainian underground managed to infiltrate the territory of the 606th Guards Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces. This unit is located in the Moscow region, not far from the capital of the aggressor country.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Telegram channel of the partisan movement "ATESH".

The focus is on military unit 61996, whose headquarters is situated in the settlement of Elektrostal, east of Moscow.

It is noted that the corresponding Russian unit belongs to the air defense forces of the aerospace troops of the Russian Armed Forces, which are "designed to repel attacks in the airspace."

"They are equipped with S-400 'Triumph' and S-300PM systems," the partisans clarified.

The movement reported that, according to information from relatives of Russian servicemen, after Ukrainian drone attacks in January 2025, there were "increased inspections" at the site. This is because drones reached the Moscow region.

"Our agent collected data on the operating regime, transport, and personnel. We promptly passed all the information to the Ukrainian Defense Forces," they added in "ATESH".

The partisan movement also released photos of the reconnoitered site.

Recall that on the night of January 24, strike drones attacked several districts of the Moscow region. Additionally, on the same night, drones targeted the Ryazan Oil Refinery, the Novo-Ryazan TPP, and Dyagilevo airbase.

Earlier, partisans reported that the Russian occupants were redeploying electronic warfare systems from St. Petersburg to the border with Ukraine. At that time, the Ukrainian underground noted that this was being done for protection against drones.

In November of last year, partisans reconnoitered military strategic sites of the Aerospace Forces of the Russian Federation in the Moscow region. The data was forwarded to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for strikes.
