From Lenin to Babushkin: The council is decommunizing the courts in Dnipro.

The Head of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada on Legal Policy, Denis Maslov, announced that a draft law numbered 12351 has been registered in parliament, which proposes changes to the names of courts, as reported by "Vydomo".

"We are aligning the names of the courts with the laws on the 'Condemnation of Communist and National Socialist (Nazi) Totalitarian Regimes in Ukraine and the Prohibition of Propaganda of Their Symbols', 'Ensuring the Functioning of the Ukrainian Language as the State Language', and 'Assigning Legal Entities and Property Rights Objects Names (Pseudonyms) of Individuals, Commemorative and Holiday Dates, Names and Dates of Historical Events'," noted the MP.

As a result, the following courts in Dnipro and the region will receive new names:

• Novomoskovsk City Court of Dnipropetrovsk Region to Samara City Court of Dnipropetrovsk Region;
• Ordzhonikidze City Court of Dnipropetrovsk Region to Pokrovsk City Court of Dnipropetrovsk Region;
• Pershotavensky City Court of Dnipropetrovsk Region to Shakhtarsky City Court of Dnipropetrovsk Region;
• Babushkin District Court of Dnipro to Shevchenkivsky District Court of Dnipro;
• Amur-Nizhndniprovsky District Court of Dnipro to Nizhndniprovsky District Court of Dnipro;
• October District Court of Dnipro to Soborny District Court of Dnipro;
• Kirovsky District Court of Dnipro to Central District Court of Dnipro;
• Krasnohvardiysky District Court of Dnipro to Chechelovsky District Court of Dnipro;
• Leninsky District Court of Dnipro to Novokodatsky District Court of Dnipro;
• Dnipropetrovsky District Court of Dnipropetrovsk Region to Slobozhansky District Court of Dnipropetrovsk Region;
• Bagley District Court of the city of Dniprodzerzhynsk to Yuzhny District Court of the city of Kamensky;
• Dniprovsky District Court of the city of Dniprodzerzhynsk to Dniprovsky District Court of the city of Kamensky;
