Occupants struck Stepnogorsk in the Zaporizhia region with KAB bombs 11 times, resulting in casualties.

Russians launched a massive attack on Stepnogorsk in the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of the shelling, a man was killed.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Ivan Fedorov, on Telegram.

Fedorov noted that the enemy struck Stepnogorsk in the Vasylivka district 11 times with KAB bombs.

As a result of the enemy attack, a five-story building was destroyed, and a man lost his life. Rescue workers retrieved his body from the rubble of the collapsed building.

The search and rescue operation at the site of the shelling lasted for more than five hours.

Shelling of Ukraine on January 2

On the night of January 2, the occupiers attacked Ukraine again with drones. The enemy launched 72 drones. Air defense forces shot down 47 strike drones, while another 24 enemy imitation drones were locally lost.

Air defense operated in the Kyiv region, as well as in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions.
