The Victory Spit is a green oasis amidst the bustling Dnipro River, a favorite relaxation spot for residents of the namesake residential area. Here, by the riverbank, among willows and poplars, not only city dwellers seeking harmony with nature find refuge, but also... forest gnome figures. These unusual sculptures that have appeared on the spit have captivated local residents and sparked genuine excitement. This was reported by "Vydomo," referencing "Dnipro Info".
Who are these mysterious guardians of the green zone, and what do they symbolize?
Summer days at Victory Spit are filled with beach relaxation, fishing, and the joyful laughter of children. In winter, however, a serene silence reigns here. Residents of the area regularly organize community clean-ups and enhance the local environment. Previously, their efforts led to the creation of an unusual sports ground, which became another attractive element for leisure at the spit. Now, new magical accents have been added — the forest gnomes.
These small figures, seemingly crafted from whatever was at hand, stand guard as if watching over the area. They subtly complement the landscape and infuse the atmosphere of the spit with a sense of fairy-tale charm, reminiscent of benevolent forest spirits from folk tales.
One of the figures stands out in particular — it is a true "star" of the green zone, a remarkable mystical creature that resembles both a gnome and a leshy.
Even the old bird feeder, which has long been an integral part of the spit’s scenery, has undergone changes. The trunk of the tree on which it hangs has been painted, adding even more whimsical color to this place.
