Not Pokrovsk and Kurakhove. Russia has launched its most significant attacks on two fronts.

Over the past day, December 21, the number of attacks on the front has slightly decreased. The occupiers primarily targeted the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Vremivka and Kursk directions.

This is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"The situation on the front remains difficult. The enemy, leveraging its advantage in manpower and equipment, is attacking positions. In total, 186 combat engagements were recorded over the past day," the report states.

At the same time, yesterday, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces delivered ten strikes on areas where enemy personnel were concentrated.

The "hottest" directions

• In the Vremivka direction, according to updated information, the enemy conducted 47 attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces near Uspenivka, Yantarne, Konstantinopil, Novoselka, Blahodatne, as well as towards Razliv and Otradne.
• The defense forces of Ukraine continue to repel attacks from the occupying army in the Kursk region. Over the past day, the enemy made 41 attempts to push back Ukrainian defenders.

Situation on other sections of the front

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy continued its assault actions, with a total of 6 combat engagements occurring. Fighting took place in the areas of Kazachya Lopani, Vysokaya Yaruga, and Volchansk.

In the Kupiansk direction, there were 4 enemy attacks over the day. Defense forces repelled assault actions from the enemy near Petropavlivka and Kruhlyakivka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy launched 20 attacks, attempting to advance near Zelenyi Hay, Hrekivka, Nadiya, Ternovy and Ivanivka.

Utilizing aviation in the Seversk direction, the enemy attacked twice towards Verkhnokamensk and Bilohorivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the Armed Forces repelled 29 offensive actions from the aggressor near Myroliubivka, Promin, Lisovka, Zelenyi, Novyi Trud, Dachenske, and Novovasyliivka. The enemy actively employed aviation.

In the Kurakhiv direction, the Defense Forces repelled 15 attacks in the areas of Staryi Terniv, Kurakhove, and Dachne.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers conducted 2 assaults near Stupochky.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 6 attacks in the areas of Toretsk and Druzhba.

Over the past day, in the Orekhov direction, Ukrainian positions were attacked seven times near Novoandriivka and Piatykhatky.

In the Dniprovsk direction, the Armed Forces repelled five assault actions, with the enemy achieving no success.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, there were no signs of enemy offensive group formations detected.

On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy is using artillery from the territory of the Russian Federation against areas of Ukrainian settlements. They are conducting reconnaissance.

Russian losses in Ukraine

Over the past day, Russian losses amounted to 1820 soldiers. Additionally, Ukrainian forces neutralized 15 tanks, 29 armored fighting vehicles, 32 artillery systems, three air defense systems, 50 operational-tactical level UAVs, and 81 vehicles.

It is worth noting that on December 20, Ukrainian forces struck three command points of Russian drones. In total, there were more than 200 attacks on the front.
