Over the past 24 hours, on January 20, there were 152 combat clashes along the front line. Almost half of the battles were recorded in the Pokrovsk direction.
This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
"During the past day, the aviation, missile troops, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 22 areas of personnel and equipment concentration, 11 command posts, ten artillery systems, four air defense assets, four military-technical property warehouses (ammunition, fuel), as well as nine other significant objects of the Russian invaders," the General Staff writes.
In the Kharkiv direction, there were three combat clashes near Volchansk.
In the Kupiansk direction, eight enemy attacks were recorded near Petropavlivka, Kolesnykivka, Lozova, and Zahryzovo.
In the Lyman direction, the Russians attacked 15 times. The enemy attempted to advance near Nadiya, Novoiehorivka, Makeivka, Kopanky, Nevske, Ternove, and beyond.
In the Siversk direction, the enemy attacked once in the area of the settlement Verkhnekamenskoye.
In the Kramatorsk direction, there were nine encounters in the area of Chasiv Yar and towards Stupochki.
In the Toretsk direction, the Russians launched 17 attacks near Toretsk, Krymske, Diliivka, Shcherbinivka, and Ozyarivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, 73 attacks were repelled in the areas of the settlements Vodyane Druhe, Myrolyubivka, Luch, Yelizavetivka, Myrnohrad, and others.
In the Novopavlivsk direction, the enemy carried out seven assault actions.
In the Dnipro direction, four enemy attacks were halted in the island zone of the Dnipro delta.
In the Kursk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 11 attacks by the Russians.
