Repair work has begun on the stormwater interception system on the former Karuna Street in the left bank area of Dnipro, as reported by a correspondent from "Vідомо".
Due to the wear and tear of the structures, the system was unable to manage water drainage, which could have resulted in flooding and damage to the road surface. To ensure safe traffic and proper functioning of the drainage system in this area, emergency repairs have commenced. The upgrade process aims to improve the cleaning and maintenance system of the stormwater catch basins, as well as reinforce the collector chambers.
The repairs will be carried out in two phases: first, the interception on the traffic lane heading towards Slobozhansky Avenue will be resumed, followed by work on the other lane. Overall, the work is expected to be completed within a month.
