On the morning of Saturday, March 1, a tragedy occurred in the village of Nikolaevka in the Kryvyi Rih district. A man was burned alive in his own home. This was reported by "Vidomo," referencing "Svoi. Kryvyi Rih".
It is noted that neighbors spotted the fire in Nikolaevka in the morning and called the emergency services. The firefighters received the call at 10:00 AM.
The 72-year-old homeowner was found dead in the hallway. He was lying by the front door. The preliminary cause is believed to be careless handling of fire.
The fire destroyed household belongings over an area of four square meters and claimed a life.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the blaze and why the man was unable to escape on his own.
