On New Year's Eve, emergency medical personnel continued to provide assistance to the residents of Dnipropetrovsk region. This was reported by Radyi Shevchenko, the general director of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Center for Emergency Medical Assistance and Disaster Medicine, as conveyed by "Vydomo".
According to his information, the emergency service received 1,401 calls, including:
- Traffic accidents – 7
- Fires – 7
- Stab wounds – 2
- Heart attacks – 7
- Strokes – 26
and none related to COVID-19.
