A scandal has erupted in Dnipropetrovsk over a toy found in a puddle (VIDEO).

Recently, a video circulated on Telegram channels in Dnipropetrovsk that caused quite a stir. In it, children allegedly tormented a dead dog and pushed its body into a puddle. However, an explanation for the incident later emerged. This was reported by "Vydomo" citing the Telegram channel "Dnipro Operational. War".

The incident took place in the town of Pereshchepyn, Samara district.

The video, filmed by local residents, shows children supposedly tormenting the body of a dead dog. They throw it around, jump on it, and submerge it.

Law enforcement responded to the situation. The police investigated the claim of animal cruelty and found that it was actually a toy. Officers examined the filming location and discovered it in a nearby drain, while its contents were found where the puddle was located.

Authorities did have a conversation with the children's parents. Meanwhile, social media users expressed confusion over such bizarre games involving elements of cruelty.
