In the city of Samara, police, along with concerned citizens, located two young boys who had left home at night and did not return. As a result of the search operation, the children were safely returned home. They are doing well. This was reported by "Vідомо" citing the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region.
On the night of December 30, the police received a report about the disappearance of an 8-year-old child and his 9-year-old friend. The entire personnel of the Novomoskovsk district police department and the juvenile prevention unit of the regional police were mobilized for the search. The operation involved employees of the State Emergency Service, military personnel, representatives of the National Guard of Ukraine, and the Pavlograd search and rescue canine unit "ANTARES".
The created groups quickly surveyed the area, inspected abandoned buildings and structures, and conducted a yard search. Thanks to the coordinated efforts of all participants and the collective actions of those who helped spread the word about the missing children, the boys were found and returned home safe and sound.
"Fortunately, the boys did not fall victim to any crime; they were handed over to their parents," the police noted.
