Красный Крест опроверг слухи о новых выплатах для украинцев.

Information is circulating online about alleged payments of 2500 hryvnias from the Ukrainian Red Cross for vulnerable populations. However, this is a hoax.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing Facebook of the Ukrainian Red Cross.

"Fraudsters are spreading false information about supposed payments of 2500 hryvnias from the Ukrainian Red Cross for vulnerable populations," the statement reads.

To mislead people, scammers are using a video tutorial created with artificial intelligence.

The Red Cross noted that this video contains fake information, and the images have no connection to the organization.

"Be cautious! Scammers are urging people to submit applications to local branches of the Ukrainian Red Cross or to contact the hotline. This is an attempt to deceive you! Trust only official sources of information," the organization added.

Recall that in November of last year, Ukrainians were urged to be vigilant due to another fraudulent scheme that was actively spreading on social media. It concerned a message that, in collaboration with the company Rozetka, the Red Cross was allegedly distributing charitable packages and monetary assistance just before Christmas.
