Information regarding the debris from an enemy drone falling on a house in Kyiv on January 31 has not been confirmed. The damages are not related to an attack by the Russian Federation.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Kyiv City Military Administration on Telegram.
"Reports of debris from an enemy drone falling on a house in the Obolon district overnight are not confirmed," said the head of the KGVU, Timur Tkachenko.
The damage to the house in Obolon is not linked to an enemy attack. According to the situation center, a short circuit in the air conditioner caused damage to the freon pipeline connecting the outdoor and indoor units.
As a result of the incident, a balcony window was damaged in an apartment in the Obolon district. There were no injuries.
On the night of January 31, Russian occupiers launched 12 drones at Ukraine. Air defense forces destroyed 59 drones, and an additional 37 enemy decoy drones were lost due to radar issues.
According to the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the attack caused damage in the Sumy, Odesa, and Cherkasy regions.
Explosions were heard in Kyiv overnight, and air defense systems were active. It was reported that debris fell in Obolon, allegedly damaging the balcony of an apartment building. As it turned out, the information about the debris falling was not confirmed.
