On the weekend of March 1-2, the weather in Ukraine will not resemble spring. Expect severe frost at night, although noticeable temperatures above zero are anticipated during the day.

On Saturday, March 1, Ukraine will be divided into two parts - one with precipitation and one without. Rain will affect all western regions, including Zhytomyr.
Starting from Vinnytsia region, including Kyiv, snow will accompany the rain. Mixed precipitation is likely in the central regions, transitioning to the northern areas - Chernihiv and Sumy, as well as the southern regions - Odesa and Mykolaiv.

Frost is expected overnight in most regions. The maximum temperature will drop to -11 degrees in Kharkiv region, -10 degrees in Luhansk, and -9 degrees in Donetsk and Sumy regions.
The warmest weather in Ukraine on March 1 will be in the western regions, reaching up to +9 degrees in Transcarpathia. In Kyiv, snow is expected, with nighttime temperatures down to -2 and daytime temperatures up to +2.

On Sunday, March 2, precipitation in Ukraine will decrease, but will not completely disappear. Rain is likely in Transcarpathia, Precarpathia, Lviv, Chernivtsi, and Odesa regions.
Snow mixed with rain is expected in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Vinnytsia, and Mykolaiv regions. The rest of the territory will remain dry.
The maximum frost will still likely occur in Luhansk region, reaching -11 degrees. The warmest daytime temperatures will be in Transcarpathia, up to +8 degrees. In Kyiv, there will be no precipitation, with nighttime temperatures down to -2 and daytime temperatures up to +4.

Recently, in Ivano-Frankivsk region, near the village of Maniava, one of the highest waterfalls in Ukraine - the Maniava waterfall - froze due to severe frosts.
The air temperature in the region dropped to -21...-23°C, leading to the complete freezing of the waterfall. The water turned into long, shiny icicles, creating a magical winter landscape.
This unique natural phenomenon attracts numerous tourists and local residents.
