On Thursday, January 2, icy conditions gripped the roads of Dnipropetrovsk region, significantly increasing the risk of accidents, reports "Vidomo".

Today, a warning has been issued in the regional center regarding hazardous road conditions due to ice. Vehicles are skidding on turns, and several accidents have already occurred this morning in the city.

If possible, it is advisable to avoid non-urgent trips, adhere to speed limits, and remain vigilant while driving. At any moment, a vehicle ahead or beside you may suddenly stop or skid. However, it is usually difficult to abruptly stop your car on ice. Additionally, it is essential to maintain a reduced speed of 20-30 meters before pedestrian crossings. People often rush onto these crossings, making it impossible to stop the vehicle in time.
