How public transport will operate in Dnipro on December 31 and during New Year's Eve.

In Dnipro, on December 31, public transport will operate according to the weekday schedule, reports "Vідомо" citing the transport department.

Due to the repair of the tram crossing at the intersection of Lesia Ukrainka Avenue and Battalion Dnipro Boulevard, there will be changes in public transport operations:

  • Trolleybuses No. 4 heading towards Soborna Square will continue to operate via 128th Brigade of Territorial Defense Street – Dmytro Yavornytskyi Avenue, and then follow their regular route;
  • Trolleybuses "A" heading towards Heroes of Maidan Square will continue to operate via Lesia Ukrainka Avenue – 128th Brigade of Territorial Defense Street – Dmytro Yavornytskyi Avenue, and then follow their regular route;
  • Trams No. 5 and No. 12 will run along their full routes with a stop on Mykola Rudenko Street towards Stepan Bandera Street;
  • Trams No. 17 have temporarily suspended operations;
  • Buses No. 40, No. 87A, and No. 109 heading from the Railway Station will detour as follows: Stepan Bandera Street – Volodymyr Antonovych Street – Oleksandr Polia Avenue – Lesia Ukrainka Avenue, and then follow their routes;
  • Buses No. 32, No. 33, and No. 73 heading from the Railway Station will operate: straight along Stepan Bandera Street – left turn onto Volodymyr Antonovych Street – left turn down Oleksandr Polia Avenue – left turn on Oleksandr Polia Avenue with a stop at "Lesia Ukrainka Avenue", and then follow their routes;
  • Bus No. 32K will detour as follows: Stepan Bandera Street – Volodymyr Antonovych Street – right turn onto Oleksandr Polia Avenue. A temporary stop has been introduced at the intersection of Volodymyr Antonovych Street and Oleksandr Polia Avenue.

Due to the dismantling of emergency structures at the building on Vokzalna Square, the final stops have been relocated:

  • Bus routes No. 7K and No. 101 to Dmytro Yavornytskyi Avenue, near house 108;
  • Bus route No. 32K, trolleybus route B, and tram route No. 1 to Vokzalna Square near house 2;
  • Bus route No. 86 to 128th Brigade of Territorial Defense Street near house 2.

As for January 1, electric transport will also operate according to the weekday schedule, but the number of vehicles will be reduced by 20%. The start and end times of operations will remain unchanged. Regarding buses, their numbers on routes will decrease by 20–30%, and the start of operations will be one hour later: in remote areas from 5:45–6:00, and in the city center from 7:00.
