On Saturday, January 4, public transport in Dnipro will operate with changes, as reported by "Vidomo" citing the transport department.
Due to the repair of the tram crossing at the intersection of Lesya Ukrainka Avenue and Battalion Dnipro Boulevard, there will be modifications in public transport operations:
- Trolleybuses No. 4 heading towards Soborna Square will continue to run via 128th Brigade of Territorial Defense Street – Dmytro Yavornytsky Avenue, and then along their usual route;
- Trolleybuses "A" heading towards Heroes of Maidan Square will continue to operate via Lesya Ukrainka Avenue – 128th Brigade of Territorial Defense Street – Dmytro Yavornytsky Avenue, and then along their usual route;
- From 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, trams No. 5 will temporarily suspend service; at other times, they will operate on full routes with a detour to Mykola Rudenko Street towards Stepan Bandera Street;
- From 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, trams No. 12 will run on Ihor Sikorsky Street without detouring to StaroMostova Square; at other times, they will operate on full routes with a detour to Mykola Rudenko Street towards Stepan Bandera Street;
- From 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, trams No. 14 from the Railway Station will operate via Stepan Bandera Street – Lesya Ukrainka Avenue – Volodymyr Antonovych Street, and then along their usual route; at other times, they will run on their standard route;
- Trams No. 17 have temporarily suspended operations;
- Buses No. 40, No. 87A, and No. 109 heading towards the Railway Station will detour as follows: Stepan Bandera Street – Volodymyr Antonovych Street – Oleksandr Polya Avenue – Lesya Ukrainka Avenue, and then along their routes;
- Buses No. 32, No. 33, and No. 73 heading from the Railway Station will run straight along Stepan Bandera Street – left turn onto Volodymyr Antonovych Street – left turn down Oleksandr Polya Avenue – left turn onto Oleksandr Polya Avenue with a stop at "Lesya Ukrainka Avenue," and then along their routes;
- Bus No. 32K will detour as follows: Stepan Bandera Street – Volodymyr Antonovych Street – right turn onto Oleksandr Polya Avenue. A temporary stop has been established at the intersection of Volodymyr Antonovych Street and Oleksandr Polya Avenue.
For the convenience of residents, alternative transportation will be organized on Mykola Rudenko Street, which will operate along Lesya Ukrainka Avenue. Expect buses on route No. 17 at 20-minute intervals.
Due to the demolition of emergency structures at the house on Vokzalna Square, the final stops have been relocated:
- For bus routes No. 7K and No. 101 to Dmytro Yavornytsky Avenue, near house 108;
- For bus route No. 32K, trolleybus route B, and tram route No. 1 to Vokzalna Square, near house 2;
- For bus route No. 86 to 128th Brigade of Territorial Defense Street, near house 2.
All other public transport routes will operate as per the regular holiday schedule.
A total of 145 units of electric transport will be deployed on the routes.
Additionally, 91 bus routes will operate throughout the city with a total of 570 buses (of which 75 are of large capacity).
