The General Staff reported on the frontlines: the heaviest fighting is taking place near Pokrovsk and in the Kursk region.

Over the past day, 161 combat clashes were recorded at the front. The highest number of battles occurred near Pokrovsk and in the Kursk region.

This is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the past 24 hours, aviation, missile troops, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck six areas of troop and equipment concentration, two air defense systems, a command post, as well as one command post for the drones of Russian invaders.

Situation in the directions:

In the Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian forces repelled two enemy attacks in the areas of Starytsia and Vovchansk.

In the Kupiansk direction, there were eight attacks by the occupiers over the past day. The Defense Forces repelled the enemy's assault actions near Zakhidne, Kucherivka, Nova Kruhlyakivka, Petropavlivka, and Zahryzovo.

In the Limansk direction, the enemy attacked 17 times. They attempted to advance near the settlements of Zelenyi Hai, Borivska Andriivka, Kopanka, Tverdokhlebovo, Makeivka, Hrekivka, and Ivanivka.

In the Seversk direction, the enemy attacked the defenders' positions once in the area of the settlement of Bilohorivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, seven combat clashes were recorded in the areas of the settlements of Chasiv Yar and Stupochky.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 12 attacks near Toretsk, Bila Hora, and Shcherbynivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, defenders halted 42 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Baranivka, Myrolyubivka, Sukhy Yar, Yelizavetivka, Luch, Lisovka, Zelenyi, Zverivo, Novyi Trud, Pokrovsk, Kotlyno, Uspenivka, Novovasyliivka, Novoandreivka, and Novoelyzavetivka.

In the Kurakhiv direction, the Defense Forces repelled 29 attacks on our troops' positions near Serebryany, Andriivka, Petropavlivka, Kurakhove, and Dachne.

In the Vremivka direction, the enemy conducted 11 offensive actions against the positions of Ukrainian units in the areas of the settlements of Yantarnoye, Vremivka, Konstantinopol, and Razliv.

In the Dniprovsk direction, Russian invaders unsuccessfully stormed our units' positions three times.

In the operational zone of the Kursk region, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 25 attacks from Russian invaders over the past day. Additionally, the enemy launched 19 airstrikes using 31 guided bombs and carried out 469 artillery shellings (including 19 from MLRS) against the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements.

On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy is actively using artillery and aviation from the territory of the Russian Federation against areas of Ukrainian settlements.

Enemy losses

Over the past day, Ukrainian warriors eliminated 1,830 Russians. Additionally, Ukrainian defenders neutralized 10 tanks, 32 armored combat vehicles, 24 artillery systems, and three air defense systems.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has already lost 804,000 soldiers.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense reported that last year Russia suffered record losses. The enemy lost over 430,000 fighters, which is almost 36 motorized infantry divisions.
