"Это ужасно": Шольц резко прокомментировал поддержку Маском правых партий в Европе.

The Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz, has issued a sharp criticism of Elon Musk. The reason for this backlash stems from the American billionaire's support for right-wing parties within the European Union.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing Reuters.

In a conversation with media representatives in Berlin, the German Chancellor stated that Musk "interferes in favor of right-wing politicians across Europe."

"This is truly disgusting, and it is not good for the democratic development throughout the European Union," Scholz noted.

It is worth mentioning that the world's richest man, who is close to former U.S. President Donald Trump, has repeatedly criticized the German Chancellor and his government, calling for Scholz to resign. Musk has also claimed that the far-right party "Alternative for Germany" (AfD) is supposedly the only savior of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Recently, the American billionaire appeared via video link at an AfD campaign event. During the event, Musk stated that Germans should not feel guilty for the sins of their parents and should be proud of their culture.

"I am absolutely critical of what Elon Musk said about Germany's history," Scholz remarked.

The Chancellor further added that Germany will continue to bear responsibility for what Germans did in the past, referring to the years of World War II.

Scholz also pointed out that this week the world remembers the liberation of the Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz.

"The murder of so many Jews and other people in Europe, committed by Germans in the past, constitutes a historical responsibility," he emphasized.

At the same time, Scholz expressed gratitude towards the United States for their soldiers' assistance in liberating Germany from the Nazis and helping it to become a democracy again.

"That is why I am so angry about Elon Musk's interference on behalf of the far-right," explained the German Chancellor.

Recall that on January 26, the head of the Holocaust memorial accused Musk of insulting the victims of Nazism due to the American businessman’s participation in the far-right AfD party congress and his statements made at the event.

Additionally, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk expressed concern regarding the ideas that were voiced at yesterday’s AfD rally, where Musk spoke.

Yesterday, it was revealed that French Prime Minister François Bayrou also criticized Elon Musk's recent attacks directed at the official Paris and European countries. According to the head of the French government, the American billionaire poses a threat to democracies.
