The oil depot "Albashneft" in the Krasnodar region of Russia was attacked on the night of February 5, marking yet another logistical target of the enemy.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing the Telegram channel of Andrey Kovalenko, head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation (CCD).

According to Kovalenko, the oil depot belongs to a refinery that can process up to 320,000 tons of oil annually. The main products include:

  • straight-run gasoline;
  • diesel fuel;
  • fuel oil;

All of these are supplied to the Russian Armed Forces.

"This is yet another logistical asset of the Russian army," Kovalenko added.

Strikes on Russian Territory

During the full-scale war, Ukraine began conducting strikes on Russian territory, utilizing drones and missiles to target locations deep within the country.

These actions aim to limit the logistical capabilities of the Russian army and reduce its combat potential. In response to Ukrainian strikes, Russia has intensified missile attacks on Ukrainian territory, targeting critical infrastructure, including energy systems and gas facilities.

Last night, there were reports of explosions in the Krasnodar region amid an air assault. A drone strike caused a fire at the oil depot located near the Kanevsky district.
