The dollar surged sharply after a decline in its exchange rate.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has increased the exchange rate of the dollar against the hryvnia. The dollar has appreciated after falling to a two-month low.

This is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing data from the regulator’s website.

The official exchange rate for February 11, 2025, is set at: 41.5936 hryvnias per 1 dollar (+0.1203 UAH).

The official euro rate will be 42.8955 hryvnias per 1 euro (-0.1372 UAH).

On the interbank market today, the rate increased by 9 kopecks to 41.58-41.62 UAH/dollar (buy-sell) compared to the previous day's close.

In the cash market, the dollar rate remained unchanged at 41.75 hryvnias.

Exchange Rate Forecast

As noted in a comment to RBK-Ukraine by Taras Lesovoy, head of the treasury department at Globus Bank, during this week the official rate will fluctuate in the range of 41.65-42.3 UAH/dollar with periodic touches to both the lower and upper boundaries of the corridor.
