Днепровская киностудия направила запрос к директору ГБР по поводу действий правоохранительных органов.

The Dnipro film studio "Original Spirit UA" has reached out to the director of the State Bureau of Investigation, Oleksiy Sukachev, regarding searches and actions by law enforcement that have caused damage amounting to tens of millions.

This has been reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the company's appeal.

"While one part of the country fights on the front lines, and businesses do everything possible to support the economy, there are individuals who, using their official positions, destroy legitimate enterprises for their own enrichment," the company stated.

The company emphasizes that they are facing unprecedented pressure, which has all the signs of a targeted raider attack. "This is not the activity of criminal organizations, but the actions of representatives of the law enforcement system and the judiciary—those who should guarantee the protection of businesses and law and order," they added.

According to them, high-ranking officials from the National Police and the judiciary are involved in the criminal scheme. "They operate according to the classic raiding scenario: manipulations, illegal investigative actions, blackmail, intimidation, baseless blocking of the company's operations, and pressure on management and employees with the sole aim of destroying our business," the company claims.

The damage caused is estimated by the company at 84 million hryvnias.

"These crimes are occurring in a time of war, when the economic stability of the state should be a priority. Entrepreneurs who diligently pay taxes, create jobs, and support the country are becoming victims of corrupt officials. Such actions not only inflict economic damage but also undermine trust in state institutions, creating an atmosphere of impunity and legal arbitrariness," they added.

The company also reported that they have filed a lawsuit demanding that an authorized person from the State Bureau of Investigation enter into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations information about the commission of a criminal offense as outlined in the statement from LLC "Original Spirit UA."

"We urge you to intervene in the situation, ensure an objective and impartial investigation, and put an end to the illegal activities of individuals abusing their powers for personal gain and exerting pressure on businesses," the company concluded.

Recall that earlier, employees of the Dnipro company "Original Spirit UA" appealed to President Volodymyr Zelensky asking for protection from law enforcement actions and assistance in preserving jobs.

Additionally, RBK-Ukraine previously reported on how a live gambling studio operates in Ukraine.
