Dnipro, Kamenskoye, and Kryvyi Rih have the most polluted air in the region.

The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center has released air pollution data for December 2024, providing insights for the entire previous year, as reported by "Vідомо" with reference to SaveDnipro.

According to the data, Dnipro, Kamenskoye, and Kryvyi Rih ranked as the top three cities in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with the most polluted air.

In Dnipro, the situation remains consistently poor regarding formaldehyde, nitrogen dioxide, and suspended particles. Moreover, there has been a significant deterioration in ammonia levels in the air.

In Kamenskoye, ammonia, carbon monoxide, formaldehyde, and phenol levels are consistently troubling. The situation has also worsened concerning nitrogen dioxide and suspended particles.

Kryvyi Rih has seen a notable decline in air quality due to increased levels of suspended particles and formaldehyde.

It is noted that a plan for improving air quality should be developed and made public for all these cities.

The executive body of the city council is responsible for creating the plan for Dnipro and Kryvyi Rih, while a structural unit of the regional state administration is tasked with Kamenskoye. However, there is no information available regarding the approval or development of such plans.
