The first images of the new series of "Shahed" kamikaze drones marked "Ъ" have emerged. This marks at least the fourth known series of Iranian-Russian "Shahed" kamikaze drones.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing Defense Express.

During another terrorist rocket and drone attack, a drone with the new marking was shot down by Ukrainian air defense forces.

The new series of "Shahed" kamikaze drones is designated "Ъ", and the numbering indicates that the enemy has produced over 200 such UAVs. There is currently no additional information available about this new series.

It's worth noting that the series of "Shaheds" currently being actively used by the Russian Federation is designated "Ы", and as of late December last year, one of the drones was numbered "Ы 11934". This suggests that the RF may have ramped up production to as many as 2,000 "Shahed-136" drones per month, totaling around 10,000 for the year.

However, this is likely only if the numbering corresponds to the actual quantity produced.

Overall, this is already the fourth series of "Shahed" kamikaze drones used or previously utilized by the Russians. The first series was designated "М", followed by "Ы", which underwent several upgrades, and also the "К" series, which significantly differed from its predecessors and incorporated more Russian components.
